THE business process outsourcing (BPO) industry (BPO) is considered insulated from the impact of the trade war, unlike the manufacturing sector, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) said.
They added that the Philippines continues to be attractive for BPO investors due to low costs and English-language skills.
Ibex, an off-shore business process outsourcing (BPO) provider, has unveiled plans to employ as many as 1000 employees in the Philippines following the opening of a new service centre.
Located in Alabang, Muntinlupa, the new facility can house up to 1000 seats, with plans in place to reach 850 employees by the end of November.
